Yamba

Yamba is a delightful coastal resort town surrounded by unspoiled beaches, national parks and lakes. Our town epitomises the laid back coastal lifestyle of many Australian childhoods and showcases the vibrancy of regional Australia.

A coastal paradise, with six beautiful beaches for swimming, surfing and snorkeling, and an ocean pool built into the rocks, Yamba has a superb climate all year around.

Take a short drive to Angourie, Australia’s first surfing reserve, or tackle the Yuraygir Coastal walk through the local National Park.

Explore the Clarence River, from a passenger ferry between Yamba and Iluka, or on a hired tinny, BBQ boat or houseboat. The area is famous for fishing and the angler is spoilt for choice with excellent spots for estuary, rock, beach and deep-sea fishing.

Yamba is also a foodies delight with a vibrant mix of awarding winning restaurants and cafes and some excellent boutique shopping.
